New Smile Journey
1. First consultation. Time to get to know each other.
This is the moment to get to know each other: client and professional. Without a doubt, one of the most important acts. We will have a good time to listen to the wishes, pains or doubts, but above all, when it comes to a new smile, to understand the expectations, the dreams. This way, without a doubt, we will have the predictability of better treatment.
2. Professional photos for smile planning.
The photographic technique applied to smile analysis is fundamental. All proportions will be seen. Imagine that your entire face has golden proportions, that is, everything has a natural harmony. Beauty and balance in smiling begins with this step.
3. Scanning of all teeth.
Digital dentistry begins with scanning all of your teeth. We capture 3D images and, with the photos, artificial intelligence will begin digitally planning your new smile. Our own digital laboratory has access to the digital library of the world’s most famous dental technicians, i.e., the most beautiful dental shapes. Our technician’s experience will provide unparalleled customization and finishing.
4. Looking at gum harmony and quality
A beautiful painting will always look better with a suitable and proportional frame. We will evaluate how the gums are in relation to the teeth. If the lip height is adequate, avoiding a smile that shows too much gum or if there are disharmonious levels in the smile line. If intervention is necessary, we use the most modern technique, a technique called Flapless. Without stitches and with surgical laser. In 48 hours the alignment will be perfect.
5. Simulating your smile (Mockup)
Once the digital planning is complete, it is time to show, before any intervention, how the new smile will actually look. This is an advanced step that will provide a reference for size, smile proportion, gum line and contour, harmonic distribution, and so on. In the mouth, we will be able to see, change, and, at the right time, approve the project together. Only then will we begin the dental preparations.
6. Minimally Invasive Preparations for Dental Porcelain
There is always a concern: “- Doctor, I am afraid of wearing down my teeth too much”. Dentistry today works with minimal spaces for placing dental contact lenses. There are preparations of 0.3 mm that are almost invisible. In some cases, the patient already has resins, advanced areas of loss of dental structure, or even the color of the teeth are dark or yellowish. In these cases, the preparation will have the necessary thickness to achieve the aesthetic expectation, but always preserving the maximum amount of dental structure.
7. Laboratory Stage
At this stage, the patient does not participate directly. All work is carried out at ARCHETTI ODONTOLOGIA facilities, with our Cad Design technical team, and closely monitored by the responsible professional. The patient may view the process whenever they wish.
8. Color test for cementation of Dental Porcelain
Almost at the end, with the porcelain pieces ready, it’s time to test the color. It’s extremely important to “check” the color in your mouth. That’s what we do in this step. Before we permanently fix the porcelain pieces, we’ll test, one by one, how they react with the back of your teeth. Together, the professional and the dentist will approve the color. Success in sight.
9. Cementation of Dental Porcelain
This is the end of the journey. This step is the closure of the case and most importantly the assurance that your porcelains will not come loose. The precision of the cementation will give us years and years of durability and satisfaction.
10. Our monitoring
We follow the entire post-operative period. We will be by our patient’s side for the time necessary for proper adaptation to the work, eventualities, doubts, etc. Today, with more than 12 thousand teeth placed, our patients aged 10, 20 and +30 still remain with us. We will always be by your side! Responsibility for the work, that is our trademark.
